Event Rules & Conditions

No alcohol will be allowed at the field at any time.

A "Registration Tag" must be worn by all registered fliers, their partners, and children aged 15 or more (additional Tags will be available on the day).

Partners and children are free to attend although you will need to purchase their meal tickets when registering, if they will be attending the Saturday night Spit Roast dinner.

Any "General Public" Will be allowed at the event on Friday the 6th and Saturday 7th, 10am thru 4pm, all public and must abide by the rules for the general public.

On Saturday Night only persons wearing a "Registration Tag" are permitted, and associated children under 15 years old.

The registration information you provide must be complete and correct.

Sunday the 8th will be set aside as a Rain Day.

You must have NZMAA registration if flying at the event...

  1. NZMAA affiliation must be current for this financial year. If you are not sure contact your Model Club.
  2. If you do not have a "Heli Wings Badge" or "Heli Proficiency Certificate" we suggest you make the effort to obtain one before this event, not a requirement but preferred.
    Your local club will be able to assist you with this.
  3. Scrutinizing, If you intend flying at this event, your machine(s) will be checked to ensure it is safe to fly, this will be done when you arrive at the field.
    You'll be required to sign a copy of the Event Safety Rules.

The event Committee takes no responsibility...

  • if your machine is deemed unsafe to fly.
  • for any problems with registration or meal payments.
  • for accommodation or anything related to accommodation.

The event Committee reserves the right to...

  • prohibit any person from attending this event, registered or not.
  • decline a registration.
  • modify these rules at any time.
  • make changes to the event format.

Event Cancellation...

If for some unforeseen reason the event is cancelled, the Event Committee will make every effort to refund as much as possible.
